Alano Club is a non-profit organization that was founded on the belief that a little help can go a long way.
The organization's purpose is to provide and maintain the facility, known as the Alano Club, located at 645 Conifer St. Slidell, Louisiana, to advance the fellowship in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, and Alateen.
Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, and Alateen groups hold or may hold regularly scheduled meetings at various times each day to help Alcoholics and family members of Alcoholics to achieve sobriety and carry the message of their respective fellowships.
Many individuals recognized the vital service provided by the Alamo Club and applied for membership in order to contribute to the successful operation and maintenance of the facility for the groups and community as a whole.
